Terms and Conditions

1. Lead must turn on a meter and commence gas service as reflected in Summit Natural Gas of Maine billing records to be eligible.
2. Lead must be submitted by email to Jessica Carter (jcarter@summitnaturalgas.com) or through the online lead submission form at https://www.SummitNaturalGasMaine.com/ContractorPortal, and is considered submitted only upon receipt by Summit Natural Gas of Maine.
3. Lead cannot have already signed a contract with Summit Natural Gas of Maine as determined by Summit Natural Gas of Maine records; any exceptions related to service line-only projects with no meter installation are determined by Summit Natural Gas of Maine.
4. Lead cannot already be working with a Sales Representative of Summit Natural Gas Maine at the time of lead submission, as reflected in Summit Natural Gas of Maine records.
5. Lead must be submitted on or after Jan 1, 2026, to be eligible for $500/meter payout.
6. A lead submission shall apply to only one meter. For residential or commercial buildings with multiple meters, a separate submission is required for each meter to qualify.
7. Contractor cannot have any property interest in the property being submitted as a lead, whether directly or indirectly.
8. Leads can be on both newly installed main line of current year and on infill main lines.
9. Contractor who submitted lead must complete the work for the conversion to be eligible for the referral payout.
